Diane Giannaccini
McDaniel College, Wilson Reading System Trainer
"Dr. Giselle McCoy is committed to improving the literacy skills of students. This dedication to her craft propelled Dr. McCoy to complete a yearlong training and 65-hour supervised practicum with a struggling reader to learn how to effectively teach key pillars of reading instruction utilizing the Wilson Reading System (WRS). WRS is an intensive, multisensory structured language program used in schools nationwide to teach students with dyslexia and other language-based learning disabilities how to fluently and independently read and spell. As a certified Wilson Dyslexia Practitioner, Dr. McCoy has dedicated considerable time, effort, and study to developing this knowledge. This Wilson Reading System certification is recognized and endorsed by the International Dyslexia Association."

"Hi, I am Tanaya. Last year my handwriting sucked and so did my reading until I met Dr. McCoy. She taught me how to read big words, write neater, and now I'm here. She taught me how to work hard for what I wanted, and I wanted Honor Roll, so I worked hard, and now I got it two times. She is the reason I am here now, being a smart young lady."

"Dr. McCoy does not play around, and you have to do work every day in her class. She helps me with my reading after school, and now I can read more hard words."
